Native to western South America. These spicy peppers have been cultivate for over 7,000 years. The bright yellow, crinkled, cone-shaped pods are 2.5ins. long and 0.5in wide. They mature from green to yellow, typically reaching about 3ft.
Flavour: Spicy with citrussy zing.
Uses: Fresh in salads, salsas, and sauces, as well as pickled or dried for longer-term use.
